We believe in locally sourced fresh food. By bringing responsibly grown, quality products closer to the kitchens and tables of Virginia, our food tastes better, is better for us, and our community is stronger.
This farm has been a dream for over a decade. Neighbors up near Washington DC have tolerated my love affair with permaculture, and on-going science projects in the front yard. Interesting edible landscapes and experiments in growing Shiso forests, Yakon and Oca, Fuki and other strange herbs and vegetables! In the end Saffron and Lavender won my heart with their savory sweet characters and boundless versatility.
We will be starting small in 2020 with an acre of saffron, lavender and a few hives.
